Tent, Table and Chair Rental - Dayton and Cincinnati

As discussed briefly in my post on Graduation Parties, A & S Play Zone can also provide the seating, shade, and more for your event.  Whether it is a Concession Machine, or something completely different, A&S can help out.  We have tents ranging from 10x10 in size, to 30x30 high peak tents, perfect for large outdoor events, where cover is necessary.  The chairs we provide for rental are clean and white, like the tables.  We offer 8 foot tables, 6 foot tables, and 60 inch round tables.  These items are also white, and also clean.  Whether you are having an event with outdoor bingo, or have a carnival set up, we can help you out every step of the way!

Kid's Fest at The Greene

Everyone loves the Greene.  One of the best shopping environments in the Dayton region, the Greene always provides a great atmosphere for enjoying the company of friends and family.  Although I have always been impressed by the Greene's level of quality and service, I did not realize they put on such fabulous events like today's Kid's Fest.  Here is the event listing from the Greene's own website:  http://www.thegreene.com/events/eventdetail/tabid/3371/articleid/3435/kids-summer-fest.aspx.
Here's what the website lists -
Wax Hands
Face Painter
Photo Booth
Inflatables
Caricature Artist
Magician
Scavenger Hunt
Obstacle Course

...and much more!
Well you can guess who provided the inflatables.
As you can see above, one of the popular bounce houses was our Buckeye Bounce, which the hometown Ohio State Fans accepted well.  We also brought out the Spongebob Squarepants Bouncer Combination unit, which kids absolutely loved.  The obstacle course the Greene mentioned?  Also from A&S Play Zone.  The choice was made to bring out the child friendly Fortress Obstacle course, shown below.
Patrons appreciated the tropical theme, as the weather stayed comfortable in temperature, and a gentle breeze rolled through.  As I strolled around the grounds, taking in all the sights, from the 1960's Batmobile to a display of the surrounding cities' multiple squad cars, I met the magician.  His name was David McCreary, and he was fantastic!  David was personable, funny, and most importantly, excellent at his magic.  I don't want to give away too much, but my favorite trick from David was the card trick with his wallet.  Here is Mr. McCreary's Facebook page, if you want to look him up - https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Comedy-Magic-of-David-McCreary/196171891771.  Also included in the festivities, was a wax hands station, a clown, and face painting.
The other attractions brought by A&S Play Zone included our Dance Heads video station, and a Build-A-Friend stuffed animal building station.  Dance Heads is a unique booth style item, where, using green screen technology, participants have their singing heads placed onto dancing animated bodies, and sing along to their favorite song.  Upon completion, a copy of the video is emailed to their email address, and a picture is printed out as a keepsake.  The Build-A-Friend station featured animals of different sizes that could be stuffed with animal fluff, and dressed up with different outfits.
Overall, everything at the Greene was a marvelous success, and we truly thank the Greene and it's staff for having such a great event!  And thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the fun today!!

Homemade Lunch Party

Working at a party rental and inflatable rental company has plenty of perks.  One of them, specifically at A&S, is the fantastic cooking by some of the staff!  On one warm summer day each year, one of the more experienced cooks on the staff takes the time to prepare a feast for the rest of the company.  Everyone is invited in, and a great time is had by all!  The food consisted of chicken, burgers and hot dogs  as the main course.  Some of the sides involved macaroni, seasoned corn, beans of all sorts, and much more!  On top of the fabulous food comes the great camaraderie of those working at A&S.  The workers get along wonderfully, and everyone can be involved in the fun games and conversation.  With a warehouse full of inflatable rental equipment, how can people not have fun!  Bounce houses, obstacle courses, dunk tanks, and every other interactive inflatable anyone could want is available for the employees to enjoy.  Of course, every day is a fun day when you work at a party rental company!  If you are interested in working for this fantastic company, we are accepting applications on our website at <http://asplayzone.com/index.php?p=apply>.

Carnival Rides – Trackless Trains and Tubs of Fun

When a carnival comes to town, what do people love more that to ride the unique rides?  Not much!  We have rides that suit all age, but especially younger kids!
Our most popular carnival goes out to many carnivals and birthday parties, throughout the entire year.  The train can run on concrete, grass, or any surface, and it fits up to twelve people.  Yes adults can ride on it as well!  You can check out our trackless train on YouTube or our website.  Oh, and it can be used with seasonal decorations as well, such as Halloween decorations, or Christmas/Winter decorations.

If the trackless train seems to childish for you, maybe you’d be interested in our scrambler-eque attraction, Tubs of Fun.  The individual seats rotate around the center part of the ride, while participants have the ability to spin their individual seats to their hearts content.  This item comes with a professional attendant who will run this ride for you!

Freedom’s Call Tattoo!

One of A&S Play Zone’s biggest events of the year is here now!  The military tattoo at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base!  It is held to honor military veterans, their families, and those who support their cause!  The entire evening is filled with entertainment, from music, to flyovers from various military aircraft, to fireworks!  Admission to the tattoo  is free, and brings in around 75,000 people each year.  This provides a great opportunity for people to come together to celebrate the armed forces, and their dedication to freedom, and our country.
Along with the music and other items, their are other attractions, such as an enormous kid’s zone, provided by A&S Play Zone!  We have brought out 16 inflatables and a few carnival rides to help entertain people.  If you go to the tattoo and enjoy using the inflatables, let us know what think on Facebook, Google, Twitter, or whatever social media you prefer!

The High Striker

Step right up!  Test your strength!  Ring the bell and win a prize!  These are all familiar phrases from the midway, beckoning people to attempt to slam a hammer down on a pad, trying to ring a bell.  The high striker has been symbol of carnivals since the early days.  Some places have tried to modernize this classic, like the King’s Island digital high striker.  It’s still fun, and it keeps the same idea, but nothing beats watching that little piece of metal rocket up the track!  A&S Play Zone offers a high striker for rental, which adds another level of fun to your carnival.
