As you can see here, the sky dancers were in downtown Dayton, helping to draw people in to see the car show, held at the Shriner building near Riverscape Park.  People passing by loved watching the inflatable items wave back and forth to them!  If you are having an event and are trying to draw people to stop by, the Sky Dancers are an effective tool to help get your event noticed!

The A&S Way

How do you know a party or event is done with A&S Play Zone?  There are many different ways to tell, but I will give you three points that help A&S stand out!

1.  The Rental Items

A&S Play Zone has an enormous inventory of over 70 inflatable items, so picking the item that will make your party successful is easy!  Each one of the blowups is cleaned and disinfected after every use, to ensure that it is safe to use looks great!  This includes the concession rental items such as popcorn machines, slushie machines, sno cone machines, and nacho machines.

The Castle Slide Combination Bounce House

When people ask what the most popular inflatable moonwalk is, I tell them it is the Castle Slide Combo.  When people ask me which bouncer has a big jumping area and sliding area, I tell them it's the Castle Slide Combo unit.  If someone asks me for a small slide, the Castle Slide bounce house has that and bouncing!  And if someone wants to know which blowup is the most cost effective, it's the Castle Slide bounce house.  If these examples haven't shown why the Castle Slide is so loved, then here are a few more!  The Castle Slide bounce house accommodates all ages!  It is designed to hold lots of children, and adults as well.  

School carnivals love this inflatable because kids can get inside and bounce around, and then when they go down the slide, it exits away from the entrance.  This means that kids have to get back in line when use the slide, helping to keep crowds around the inflatable to a minimum.  Big festivals like this jumper too because it accommodates the most children of any jump house except the extreme 20x20.

Bungee Runs - An After Prom Favorite

The school year is creeping back on students, with the back to school sales an indicator that another year of school is inevitably upon them.  Although many students don't love the idea of returning to school, it brings back so many opportunities for fun, friendship, and sports!  The parents will begin to gather together to start planning the multiple events throughout the year, from seasonal activities, to pep rallies, to after proms.  A&S Play Zone can help with all of these events, but the After Proms are what people focus the most on.  One of the most popular items at these after proms is the Bungee Run, which A&S has three different versions of.

First, the standard two lane bungee run.  Participants put on a vest with a bungee cable in the back.  They will hold a Velcro baton in one hand, and sprint down the lane against their opponent.  The goal is to be the person who can place the Velcro baton furthest down the center lane.  

Second comes the three lane bungee run, which is very similar to the two lane, but as the name suggests, has a third lane.  This way, a group of three friends could challenge each other to a bungee run race.  Think of have the three football players, or three cheerleaders race against each other!

Lastly, the First and Goal Bungee Run.  This has a similar concept to the other two bungees, but instead of running parallel and next to another person, participants run in opposite directions, attached to the same bungee cable.  So this bungee is more of a direct contest, with contestants pulling each other while trying to place a ball into a hoop farther away from the center post.

Pedal Carts are for Fun Seekers Young and Old!

Cook Family Fundraiser

Come on out to Springboro High School this weekend in the Dayton and Cincinnati area to participate in the Cook Family Fun Day!  The day is going to run from 9 am to 6 pm at CareFlight field.  There will be fun filled activities all day, from a dodge ball tournament to kickball!  Of course food will be available, including hamburgers, hot dogs, and pulled pork from Chef Tommy Myers.  Proceeds from this event go back to local community youth programs.  All of the proceeds generated from the $5 per carload admission fee.  The most exciting section of the event will be the dunk tank and inflatable, so bring somebody you want to send into the water!  More information can be found on the website for the Cook Family Fun Day.  Be sure to come on out and bring your family to help support the local community!

Human Hamster Balls | Zorb Balls | Dayton Cincinnati Ohio

Water Slides | Dayton Cincinnati

Olympics Parties!

It only happens once every four years, but the Olympics are back and it is a great time for the whole world!  The athleticism, the pageantry, and the friendly competition.  Even Dayton Ohio has a gold medalist from right here in the Miami Valley!  With such a period of festivities, it would make sense to have an Olympic party!  If you rent a bounce house, you could even perform your own Olympic activities!  Using our Demolition Ball or Boulder Dash, you can work on your balance.  The inflatable Defender Dome game center can be used for a multitude of games.  The most Olympic like inflatable we have is our blowup four person joust, or two person joust.  These inflatables have participants stand on pedestals and, while wearing protective head gear, fight with foam sticks who see who falls first.

Trackless Train | Dayton Cincinnati Columbus Party Rentals

Who hasn't stood an marveled at a train as it chugs by?  The number of people who can answer a "me" to that question is probably growing, as trains develop into more high tech machines, and the old style disappears from the tracks.  Perhaps you might think about introducing your children to trains by renting a trackless train for their next party!  A&S Play Zone's trackless train is scaled down perfectly to fit younger children in its cars.  Don't worry, it works for adults as well, so you can keep your kids safe.  The Trackless Train we have available for rental in the Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus Ohio area, Kentucky and Indiana has four total segments.  Three cars and one engine.  The three cars can hold a total of twelve people, and the engine is manned by one of our trained conductors.

In the winter months, people frequently rent our trackless train with decorations on it.  It can be adorned with boughs, lights, and other festive items.  This works wonderfully for a Christmas theme or other winter time event!

Human Hamsterball! The Criss Cross Collision Course!

One of the most interesting A&S Play Zone has to offer is it's Criss Cross Collision Course, or as many people refer to it, the Human Hamsterball.  Just like it sounds, it involves people acting like hamster, crawling inside a ball, and rolling around.  A&S can rent the balls out separately from the track, if the event is indoors and on a padded surface, but if an event is outside, the track is required for safety reasons.  The best place to have it is on a grass surface, so that in the rare case that someone may fall, they would be additionally padded by the Earth.  But again, this is a rarity.  The track is almost 80 feet long, and can be used to have two people race against.  It's interesting enough watching two people race while contained inside a human hamsterball, but it's possible to make it even more difficult!  There are designated sections of the blowup that can be filled with water!  Changing the terrain like this reduces the friction of the ball on the water, so the participant spins even faster in an attempt to make it over the edge and back onto the dry section.  The Human Hamsterballs can be found on the A&S Play Zone website, and there you can see a picture of the item.  Whether you are planning a company picnic, or want something special for your school's after prom, the Criss Cross Collision Course isn't something you see every day.

Have You Already Started Planning Your Afterprom? Let A&S Play Zone Help!
