New Dayton Party Rental Items for 2014!

Every year for Party Rental companies in Dayton and Cincinnati, there is a slightly less busy period over the Winter season.  A&S Play Zone makes sure to take advantage of this time by looking into what new fun party rental items we can bring our customers in the new year!  We already have a number of ideas for items that people will love to have at their Dayton Events, and some new items that people don't even know about yet!  Let me give you a quick sneak peak of some of the items A&S will be telling you about in the coming month.

First, we are of course a company that provides inflatable rentals in the Cincinnati area, so we are looking into some awesome new bounce houses!  This year, A&S received a number of calls regarding themed bounce houses, specifically pirates and Disney characters.  In the next few days, A&S Play Zone will be adding some of the new bounce houses we have to our site, so people can start choosing them for their Dayton bounce house rentals.

Next, we love our photo booth rentals, but After Prom groups and Company Picnics have been looking for some innovative entertainment, and we will be bringing you all new information about a Dayton photo booth rental!  Along with these party rental items, we have a number of exciting items that we are bringing in.  Stay tuned for some new exciting developments in the next few days!

After Prom - Much Closer than it Seems!

With schools beginning to close down for the winter break, everyone is taking a few days to relax after a year of hard work.  As we look forward past the New Year though, the second half of the school year is waiting.  Nobody wants to have extra stress over the Holiday season, or during the hectic months of the school year!  Let's take a quick moment to go over some of the big events for the second semester.  We have a few back to school events to welcome kids back and get them excited for school again.  Then there are some fun party events for charity, such as a "mission day".  As the semester end draws nearer though, that is when the most important events occur.  After Proms and end of the year Field Days.  After Proms are the most difficult to plan though, mainly because they are indoors and require a lot of people to help!  Along with making sure there is a proper amount of food and staffing to provide fun and safe entertainment, the parents in charge also have to find the entertainment itself!  Make sure to look for three key things:  Something exciting, something memorable that they can keep, and something that brings kids together.  A&S Play Zone would like to offer a few examples as to what has made some of our after proms successful in the past.  We always like to make our events memorable, and something that always works well is either a picture booth or a key chain.  A&S offers two styles of picture booths, a video machine and a standard photo booth that gives you a series of pictures.  This helps bring people together and also gives them a wonderful keepsake.  Next, for the exciting part, we have always had great fun with a large inflatable like an obstacle course, and perhaps another inflatable like the bungee run to get the kids involved with each other and their dates in a fun way.

Party Rentals in the Colder Months

It may not be the be the most fun time of year for outdoor events, but that doesn't mean the fun has to stop!  As people begin to stay inside more, it brings the time for schools and other organizations to host indoor events, like a fundraising gala, to dances, and down the road, after prom events.

If your school is planning a night to raise money for future events, A&S Party Zone can provide everything necessary for a successful night.  Whether you need linens to create a feeling of an elegant night, or just bring out the idea of a more fun event, A&S Party Rental services has it.  We can also bring you out the tables and chairs for your evening meal.  The chairs have covers too, and can bring an event from just a dinner party to a classy event, all depending on what you want!  A&S can do catering for your event too, again, providing services based on what kind of night you intend to host.  Remember, you will need tables for the silent raffle prizes as well!  If you have a big space that you need to announce over, a microphone and speaker system would be great to have, and A&S party rental has that as well.

Bungee Runs - An After Prom Favorite

The school year is creeping back on students, with the back to school sales an indicator that another year of school is inevitably upon them.  Although many students don't love the idea of returning to school, it brings back so many opportunities for fun, friendship, and sports!  The parents will begin to gather together to start planning the multiple events throughout the year, from seasonal activities, to pep rallies, to after proms.  A&S Play Zone can help with all of these events, but the After Proms are what people focus the most on.  One of the most popular items at these after proms is the Bungee Run, which A&S has three different versions of.

First, the standard two lane bungee run.  Participants put on a vest with a bungee cable in the back.  They will hold a Velcro baton in one hand, and sprint down the lane against their opponent.  The goal is to be the person who can place the Velcro baton furthest down the center lane.  

Second comes the three lane bungee run, which is very similar to the two lane, but as the name suggests, has a third lane.  This way, a group of three friends could challenge each other to a bungee run race.  Think of have the three football players, or three cheerleaders race against each other!

Lastly, the First and Goal Bungee Run.  This has a similar concept to the other two bungees, but instead of running parallel and next to another person, participants run in opposite directions, attached to the same bungee cable.  So this bungee is more of a direct contest, with contestants pulling each other while trying to place a ball into a hoop farther away from the center post.
