March Madness is Coming Soon!

After Michigan State dominated Michigan last night in one of coach Tom Izzo's better games in the rivalry, most people should have realized something.  Michigan State appears to be hitting their peak again, which means the best tournament in college sports can't be far away!  Whether you're an Ohio native cheering for a team up north, or the Flyers, Buckeyes, Bearcats, Musketeers, or Bobcats, or someone from Indiana rooting for the Hoosiers, Notre Dame, or Purdue, college sports fans are preparing for another great tournament.  Before you start mentally preparing your dream bracket, you should probably take a look at what implications there are over this next month.  You don't want to watch the game alone do you?  You could take it in a local sports bar, or, if they don't appreciate your loud criticisms of the referees and players, you could simply host it at your house.  The best March Madness party throwers know that keeping that great atmosphere is key, and A&S Play Zone actually has some great items to give your party that arena feel.  We have four great products that can help you prepare the food for kicking back and watching the game.  Previously we discussed our variety of concession machines, but the ones that work best for indoor, colder weather events are the popcorn, hot dog, nacho, and pretzel machine.  To make things even more appealing, you don't have to pay ten dollars per nacho box, and with all the people you'll have over, you'll start saving money in the first game.  Perhaps the best benefit though, is that you will never have to make the dangerous decision to run up to the concessions stand and miss a potential tournament making play.  You get to sit back and enjoy every moment.  So start thinking about that March Madness party now and how much better having your own concession machines can make your party great!

Focus on Graduation Parties: Tables and Chairs

It still is somewhat early in the semester to think about how it's going to end, but for many grade school, high school, and college kids and parents, the end of the semester will bring a lot of joy, fun, and stress.  The challenge of finishing up those last few exams is nothing compared to throwing the perfect graduation party for your child.  There is the challenge of who to invite, how to decorate, and trying to guess how many people will actually be there.  The last thing anyone throwing their Ohio graduation party needs to worry about is making sure they all have a place to sit and eat!  That is why A&S Play Zone has tables, tents, and chairs available for parties!  The chairs are white resin and are simply priced at one dollar per chair.  Tables and tents have a variety of prices based on the size and shape.  The tables are made of a similar material to the chairs and are also white.  We are currently updating our tent inventory to include more sizes and colors, so call when you get the chance to find out what we have available!  Everything is clean and ready to be taken to a party, so you don't have to be concerned about the cleanliness of our items.  If you do want something to cover those tables, A&S Play Zone is beginning to offer linens and other party options, so stay tuned and we promise to keep you update!

** A secret hint for planning graduation parties is to get started well in advance!  For some people, this time right now may even be considered late!  So make sure to take some time to consider what you want for your party and look into reservations today.

Warm Weather is Getting Closer!

The frigid temperatures of Ohio's winter are slowly beginning to subside   As this happens, kids and adults, young and old are all scrambling for the chance to be outside in the sun again.  In just a few short weeks, the heat will be substantial enough to start thinking about hosting your Dayton and Cincinnati parties!  A&S Play Zone has already stocked up our inventory with plenty of options to help you and your friends have exciting fun parties!  As much fun as our inflatable water slides are, the weather won't yet be quite warm enough for those, but there are many other great options.  For home use, our bounce house selection has expanded to include more great moonwalks.  With water slides out, we still have standard inflatable slides in many different sizes that could fit your event.  As we head into the season of prom and especially school field days, our larger items, such as the inflatable obstacle courses, are being sought after even more, so consider calling now!  If the heat gets to be too much too soon, A&S also has a variety of misting fans and dunk tanks that can help bring any picnic or outing to a suitable temperature.

Super Bowl Party

What a game!  Whether you are a Ravens supporter or a 49's fan, this super bowl was one for the ages!  From the commercials, to the halftime show, to the lights in the Superdome shutting off, there was a little something for everybody.  Speaking of something for everybody, that's what most people try to accomplish when they host a super bowl party.  Food of all sorts for the people watching the game, beverages galore, and many times, something to help occupy those not as interested in football, such as kids.  As we head into the football off season, into summer, and eventually back around into the NFL prime time again, remember that A&S can help make your party one that people will look forward to year after year!  There are many options we have available.  Once the weather warms up a bit, kids will want to play outside and there aren't many better options to keep them busy during a big game and also pique their interest in football than with a sport themed bounce house.  The most popular of those items are the Bengal Bounce Moonwalk and the Buckeye Bounce Jumper.  Not only are these great as a backyard item for a party, but once schools begin training for their football season, nothing beats having one of these at your event to help set the spirits for another fun season!  If you want something extra special, take a look at our End Zone Scramble Inflatable Obstacle Course!  A fun option for the young athlete at your event!  If you are just looking back at having a great Super Bowl Party though, thinking of your team and where they might be next year, feel free to give us a call!  We have plenty of smaller items and accessories you may need for your party, after all, we are all about fun!

New Site Design!

Its finally here!  The new website for A&S Play Zone!  It's taken a lot of work, but it's online and looks great!  Some of the improvements include an updated logo, which now features a more polished look and the website information in our cloud.  We have developed a national rental number - 855-PlayZONE to go along with our two local numbers, 513-315-9110 for Cincinnati, or 937-885-5454 for Dayton.  You all probably noticed how hard we've worked on our social media involvement, and now our homepage banner includes a button for A&S Play Zone on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Wordpress, Blogger, and YouTube!  So you can simply go to our website to access our fun social media, or just search us on Google, Yahoo, or Bing.  We'll be there!

The next exciting update is a simpler interface for our different locations on the website, such as special deals, events, and our company mission.  We retained many of the ideas from our old website though so it won't be too overwhelming of a change.

By far, the best new update is the category item search.  Instead of using our old drop down categories or sliding product bar (Which is still located lower on the screen), there are clickable buttons with a picture of an item that represents the category.  Not only does this interface make it simpler to find specific products or help your child find what they want, it works well on mobile devices.  So if you want to find our bounce houses or inflatable slides in Dayton or Cincinnati, you just click one button and scroll through all of our bouncy options.
